Well, I’ve just got back after a hard days shooting with Cris Matthews for our first official full-on wedding video. This is something we’re both starting to experiment with after some new gear became available a short while ago to enable us to shoot video footage in the same unobtrusive manner that we shoot photographs. I think the final count at 10pm was somewhere between 80 and 100 gigabytes worth of footage. (That’s a lot by the way!)
Although I have done loads of video and film work in the past on short films, today was lots of hard work, took loads of concentration and was a big contrast from stills photography.
Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll both be cutting our own edit of the day to see what different approaches we come up with, and I’ll be posting my version up on here as soon as it’s finished.
