Fun in the snow • Natasha & Alastair • Pre-Wedding Shoot

This weekend I had the great (freezing-cold) pleasure of photographing Natasha & Alastair’s pre-wedding photos at Oakwell Hall, near Birstall in Leeds.  It was a close call with the weather, but after waking up to a beautiful sun filled sky, I couldn’t have asked for better light (even the Californians don’t have it this good)....

Fantastic work Rob. Images as crisp, clean and invigorating as the snow that forms their backdrop. You’ve framed Natasha & Alastair’s personalities marvellously well too. It bodes very well indeed for the wedding photos to come! I’m sure they’ll be thrilled with these :~)

Cristina21/12/2009 - 11:35 AM

Barns, thanks a lot – the top image is one big old softbox and some careful positioning, a a touch of natural light from the window. Iona, I didn’t make him shave, he offered!

Iona17/12/2009 - 1:15 PM

Brilliant! Did you make him shave mid shoot! Impressed! x

Barnaby Aldrick17/12/2009 - 11:58 AM
